Rishab Shetty is currently engaged in a hectic schedule in Bengaluru despite being occupied with his next movie project, a prequel to Kantara, being worked on in his hometown of Kundapura. The actor and director recently achieved significant success at the 70th National Awards, winning accolades such as Best Actor and Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment. Prior to this, he had also secured the National Film Award for Best Children’s Film for his directorial work in Sarkari Hiriya Prathamika Shale Kasaragodu, released in 2018. Expressing his joy at this achievement, Rishab reveals that receiving a national award had always been a cherished aspiration of his since his entrance into the industry twenty years ago.

Regarding his latest award, Rishab acknowledges the esteemed reputation associated with national honors, emphasizing the sense of fulfillment that comes with such recognition. He expresses gratitude to his team, the people of Keradi, and the daiva nartakas for their support and influence.
